The Scotts Valley Kiwanis Club was chartered in August, 1984. In the last 23 years the Scotts Valley Kiwanis Club has developed into one of the largest non profit contributors to the Scotts Valley community. Our members consist of business people, professionals, and retired persons. In 2004 we merged with the San Lorenzo Kiwanis Club and now support both Scotts Valley and San Lorenzo Valley. We are dedicated to making both areas a better place for our children and our communities.
Scotts Valley Kiwanis Club supports many vital programs essential in reaching our youth and supporting our community. Some of these programs include:
Co sponsors of the Bean Creek 5K / 10K Run and Kids Races
Provide six "most Improved Student" awards at Scotts Valley Middle School each semester
Provide 1 Good Citizen award at Scotts Valley High School student each year
Provide endowed $2500 scholarship award for any Northern Santa Cruz County high school senior
Provide $1000 scholarship award for senior Key Club student
Sponsor Key Club at Scotts Valley High School
Sponsor Key Club at San Lorenzo High School
Sponsor Key Club at Pacific Collegiate School
Sponsor Boy Scout Troop in San Lorenzo Valley
Provide Christmas gifts for the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Christmas Party
Keep Highway 17 within Scotts Valley clean through the Adopt-a-Highway Program
Provide parents with photographs and fingerprints of their child
Donated 4000 books to citizens of Scotts Valley and San Lorenzo Valley
Plant 50 trees in Sky Park
Sponsor Bocce court installation at Scotts Valley Sky Park
